Guiding products from idea to realization
Products that surround us today have some kind of software component. Every interface we interact with impacts our mood and the quality of our life. It can be a smartphone app or the call button of an elevator: the quality of the interaction is what matters.
Our goal is to build systems with easy to use and intuitive interfaces. They should be effective but fun to use.
We can achieve this by taking an important role in the whole lifecycle of product development. This approach helps us provide great solutions to the customers who trust us.
Embedded hardware and software development
We believe that everyday physical products will evolve in the coming years. The usability, user experience and accessibility should all improve greatly. Increasing expectations of end users already fuel these changes.
We have several R&D projects to explore ideas and possible solutions in these fields.
Mobile and web application design and development
The display size and input methods of smartphones, tablets and computers are quite different. The available resources and the required application complexity vary on a wide range as well. Despite these differences our methodology allows us to use a similar approach to develop applications for all these platforms.
We have years of experience in creating and maintaining highly scalable and secure browser based applications. We have built systems used by tens of millions of users and applications featured on all major mobile platforms, and some of them are pre-installed by manufacturers and carriers.
02 How we work
Most of our clients come to us with an idea or a prototype of different stages. As a first step we help them find the root of their problem. Then we start finding the solution together. We follow short “design - develop - measure - analyze” cycles. For the best result we use a mix of The Lean Startup, Design Thinking, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies uniquely shaped for each project.
We spent several years working for international startups and design agencies. We learned a lot from projects where we had an impact on the product and a direct connection with the end users. Experiencing success and failure helped us realize the value of experience.

Reference
TimeNote Pro
This iPad application is designed for movie industry professionals.
It helps managing projects by letting users annotate on a timeline.
Frame level control and multi-user synchronization works side by side with widely used PC editing softwares.
Disassembling the received prototype to the core of the original idea we redesigned the user interface and
rebuilt the entire application. We also helped at the early days of product distribution and marketing.

3D Printer
We designed and built this 3D printer to satisfy our thinkering needs. As a nice benefit we had the chance to try out our own ideas and gain more experience with complex and precise machines.
The manufacturing was done with our in-house machines and tools. For simplicity we choose OpenBuilds rails and wheels as linear motion components combined with CNC machined aluminum and self-printed plastic parts. Our goal was to make a modular and quiet machine we can use in our office space.

iPad Application for Roche Agents
Roche - a pioneer in healthcare - has been committed to improving lives since the company was founded in 1896 in Basel, Switzerland. Today, Roche creates innovative medicines and diagnostic tests that help millions of patients globally.
Our task was to create an iPad application that helps agents manage contact details and data handling agreements with doctors and healthcare personnel on the field.

An e-commerce platform which handles unlimited product variety, thousands of sellers and millions of customers. Our responsibilities included market research, product design and development of a highly scalable and secure server platform.
